Polish employment likely grew in March, industrial output to have slowed further

Polish employment is expected to have grown in March. Labor market in the nation has been tightening for some time already and this trend is likely to have continued. Employment in Poland has been growing and the nominal wage has recently accelerated.

According to an Erste Group Research, nominal wage is likely to have grown 6.4 percent year-on-year, which is slightly below the consensus expectation. Overall, the soli labor market underpins private consumption growth.

Meanwhile, industrial performance of Poland has been strong, as market sentiment indicates towards ongoing growth in the manufacturing sector. Even if it appears that the growth dynamics have decelerated in recent time, unfavorable calendar effects are expected to have dragged the growth further down in March, added Erste Group Research.
